Summer Jam 2012 performers

Summer Jam 2012 will include some of the countries biggest hip hop acts.  Last year at Summer Jam 2011 Rick Ross and Lil Wayne closed the set.  This year the closing act will be Nicki Minaj, who is sure to attract a lot of Barbz (Her fan club).  One Tri State area emcee who we have yet to see at Summer Jam in the recent years is Jersey Demic.  We contact Hot 97′s program director Ebro Darden to find out about the snub, he has yet to send a comment to press at the time of this article.  The festival stage will include acts such as A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, School Boy Q, Big Krit, and Fred the Godson.  The Summer Jam 2012 performers on the festival stage held outside of the stadium for upcoming artists who have recently received a good amount of radio play.   The actual Summer Jam 2012 performers on stage will include the following acts: Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, J. Cole, Wale, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka, Trey Songz, Maino, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and New York’s own French Montana.  When we asked Jersey Demic why he wasn’t set to performing at Summer Jam 2012 he replied, “They already have some great performers set to do their thing, i’m sure me and Bawsten could’ve definitely added to the event especially with our peers on the Festival Stage.  Most of the guys on that stage I have performed with already so it would almost be like a homecoming.  I recently did a show with School Boy Q at Rutgers University Unity Day and that was dope.  We performed with Waka at a sneaker fanatic event earlier in the year.  I was recently at St Johns Spring Fest where Fred the Godson performed and i’ve gotten stage time during about three Kendrick Lamar shows.  I feel good for everyone of them, when my turn comes it will be a treat for everyone, it’s not about me it’s about the public.  They want good music, so that’s what we try to give them.”  Summer Jam 2012 performers better bring it because Jersey Demic puts on a great show, so if he isn’t going to be there it better be for a good reason.  If you are going to Summer Jam 2012 let us know how you feel about the line-up and let us know which artist is the main reason you are going.  Hopefully next year we can see Jersey Demic on that Summer Jam stage!
