In 2011 50 Cent founded Street King Energy Drink. Then Street King Energy drink brought on New York Marketing consultant Daddy Bawsten to help with sponsorship activation in New York City. Bawsten is known as a New York marketing consultant with his finger on the pusle of the culture. Bawsten has played a big role in the companies sponsorship activation in New York City. The Street King team hired Bawsten as a New York marketing consultant when he wowed them in Times Square. Even 50 Cent has been quoted as saying “I need that guys energy”.

Bawsten has gone on to found his own urban marketing company named “Wirelion”.  His expertise is respected in his industry and he is also seen as a social media guru.  Bawsten has amassed 50,000 followers for his own personal account and has helped Street King in building their followers to the thousands.  He also had input on how Street King would get to 1 million likes on Facebook.  When we asked Bawsten what he thinks the key to launching a new product is, he replied “The product must first provide a relevant need to society”.
