Nicki Minaj and Funk Flex

On Sunday June 4th 2012, Nicki Minaj backed out of Summer Jam 2012.  Hot 97 Radio personality Peter Rosenberg made a comment about Nicki Minaj’s recent top 40 hit “Starships.”  Lil Wayne then pulled all remaining Young Money artists from the bill with the exception of Tyga.  The next day Nicki Minaj called in to Hot 97 to address some of the comments that Funk Flex made at Summer Jam.  Comments such as “I will be dedicated to ending her career.”  Nicki then called in to Power 105.1′s morning show to continue her rants.  Demic who was also at Summer Jam broadcasting live from lot F3 had a few things to say about the events.  Jersey Demic responded with, “I was out there in front of the festival stage and I never knew anything even happened.  It was so quick,  and you are just used to Peter Rosenberg saying crazy things because he is from a morning show.  I took it as though he was just trying to hype up the crowd since the crowd at the festival stage is usually the guys who love underground hip hop.  The radio should have a bit more courtesy if the artist does feel offended though.  That’s where I stand as far as all of that goes.”
