In a few months the release of Madden 13 will be the biggest news to all NFL video game fans out here.  Their are many new features which are listed below.  We also sat down with Jersey Demic to find out which is his favorite new feature from Madden 13.

Interviewer: How’s life

Jersey Demic: Life’s good, still breathing and that’s all that you can really ask for.

Interviewer: Madden 13 is coming up, are you a big Madden gamer?

Jersey Demic: Of course, I’ve been playing Madden since Madden 95 but I really got into it with the Madden 98 release with my good friend Eddie.

Interviewer: What got you into Madden

Jersey Demic: Honestly, The NFL and football in general.  I wanted to play in the NFL and I was still a teenager so I would come home and pretend I was on The NY Giants or something.

Interviewer: What do you think about the Madden cover and the curse?

Jersey Demic:  I feel as though the curse may in fact be real, lol.  Even though i’m not superstitious at all.  But I think when you believe something enough then it can manifest itself.  Hopefully Calvin Johnson doesn’t get hurt because he’s on my favorite team, The Detroit Lions.  I’m happy that he is on the cover, it makes sense because he is obviously the most dominating wide receiver in football today.

Interviewer: That’s cool, we all had dreams like that at some point.  Were you satisfied with Madden 12?

Jersey Demic:  I liked Madden 12 a lot, it actually got me back into the franchise because I was disappointed with some of the releases before that.  Also I actually got busy touring with my music around the same time I lost interest.  So maybe it was more me than the game.

Interviewer: What did you not like about Madden 12?

Jersey Demic: I didn’t like the fact that there was only one level of passing.  If you were throwing 40 yards downfield a linebacker who is 10 yards in front of you could bat it down.  That never made any sense to me.  I’ve heard they changed that for Madden 13 and that is one of the biggest things that I am anticipating.

Interviewer:  Getting into Madden 13 and the passing, Would you be dissapointed if the passing didn’t make drastic improvements this year?

Jersey Demic:  Yes I would, passing is hard enough as it is.  I am good but I throw a lot of interceptions when I play online.  If I ever try to open up my offense I end up playing like Trent Dilfer or something, lol.  No disrespect to Trent as we are reminded by him EVERY Sunday that he has a Superbowl ring.

Interviewer:  Are there any concerns you have with Madden 13?

Jersey Demic: I am concerned about the online franchise capabilities.  They haven’t improved it in years and I feel like franchise mode is a big part of the game.  They showed combine the XFN or Madden League Manager capabilities with the online franchise.  They also need to fix their servers.  In 2012 or 2013 there is no reason for lag on a PS3, lol.

Interviewer: So that means you are one of the people who don’t care about the presentation?

Jersey Demic:  I care about the presentation but they never put enough animations to last a full season, so you end up seeing the same animations over and over to start the game.  It becomes annoying and I usually press x a bunch of times in order to skip through it and get to the game.  But if they did something like bring the NFL on NBC or Chris Berman and Tom Jackson that would be dope.  I would also like to see something at halftime.  We will see what they do though, I heard they have Phil Simms this year.

Interviewer:  Any last thoughts?

Jersey Demic: Yea if anyone wants to try their luck out against me, just add me on PS3 my gamertag is JerseyDemic.  My goal is to go undefeated in Madden 13, lol. OH and don’t forget to download one of my mixtapes or something, peace and love!
