Several new Mac Miller mixtapes has been floating around the internet endlessly. Some of the songs seemed to remind us of the vibe we get from back in the 90s. One other rapper who’s music has that nostalgic 90s feel is Jersey Demic. This raised our curiosity and we wondered, what does Jersey Demic think about Mac Miller mixtapes. When we asked Jersey Demic his opinion on Mac Miller he said, “I like what Mac Miller does but as far as hip hop music go our content are at different ends of the spectrum. I talk about struggles in the hood and different things people are going through. He more talks about the suburbia Pittsburgh lifestyle, getting high, smashin chicks. I mean it’s cool and I listen to some of his stuff but it’s just not what I like to make.”

Similarities between Mac Miller mixtapes and Jersey Demic mixtapes are consistent. Both have used Garageband in the past to create the finished products. For the time being Mac Miller mixtapes seem to be the most popular thing in hip hop. So it seems like Mac Miller is on the right track with his mixtapes. Jersey Demic has been building a considerable amount of buzz over the past year. To summarize, I would say to each his own, and hopefully we can see these two work together on a song or even more in the near future.
