On a Saturday afternoon Jersey Demic decided to watch the movie “Juice” starring the late great Tupac Shakur. He then fell in love with the breakbeat intro to Big Daddy Kane’s Nuff Respect and thought that it would be cool to capture the energy from the record. He then used it as drums under the sample from Coolio’s Gangstas Paradise from the movie Dangerous Minds. The song has a nice mix of lyricism and bounce.
